Description

The Siemens CP 343-1 Advanced (6GK7343-1GX31-0XE0) is an advanced communications processor developed for SIMATIC S7-300 automation systems, enabling seamless and high-speed industrial networking. Equipped with a Gigabit Ethernet interface (10/100/1000 Mbps) and two PROFINET RJ45 ports (10/100 Mbps), it supports flexible topologies and high-performance communication as both a PROFINET IO Controller and IO Device. It provides full PROFINET RT and IRT functionality, Media Redundancy Protocol (MRP), and PROFINET CBA for distributed automation architectures.

The module enables a wide range of communication standards such as TCP/IP, ISO-on-TCP, UDP, S7 communication, S5-compatible communication (Fetch/Write), multicast, SNMP, DHCP, FTP client/server, web diagnostics, and email. It supports up to 48 active multi-protocol connections and offers 28 MiB flash memory + 30 MiB RAM for user data handling.
