The Siemens 3RW5526-1HA04 from the SIRIUS 3RW55 series is a premium soft starter engineered for advanced motor control in demanding industrial environments. Designed for 200–480V systems and rated at 77A (up to 133A inside-delta), it supports motor powers up to 37 kW at 400V (or 75 kW inside-delta) and offers highly flexible start/stop control with 0–360 second ramp-up and ramp-down times. Its adjustable start torque (10–100%), stop torque, breakaway pulse, and current limiting up to 800% allow precise customization for pumps, compressors, conveyors, mixers, and heavy-load machinery.
The unit includes an integrated bypass contact system, reducing heat buildup and improving energy efficiency after motor run-up. It features comprehensive protection functions such as full motor protection, thermistor (PTC/Klixon) evaluation, overload protection, ground-fault monitoring, current unbalance detection, and DC braking. Additional advanced capabilities include creep speed in both directions, emergency operation, reversing operation, condition monitoring, automatic parameterization, application wizards, and an onboard event/error log.
