Description
The Siemens SINAMICS PM240-2 Power Module (6SL3210-1PE32-5AL0) is an industrial-grade drive module engineered for high-performance motor control in heavy-duty applications such as pumps, compressors, conveyors, cranes, and process machinery. Operating on a 3-phase 380–480 V AC power supply, it provides a rated output of 132 kW (LO) / 110 kW (HO) and delivers up to 250 A output current, with peak currents reaching 410 A for short-term overload conditions. This allows stable operation under demanding load variations and high-torque startup conditions.
The module supports vector control (0–200 Hz) and V/f control (0–550 Hz), offering precise and energy-efficient motor performance. Integrated Class A EMC filtering ensures compliance with international electromagnetic standards, while efficiency reaches 98%, significantly minimizing power loss. The PM240-2 features advanced overload capabilities, including 150% for 57 seconds and 200% for 3 seconds, making it suitable for high-stress applications.
Its rugged FSF-size construction with IP20 protection and internal air cooling ensures reliable thermal management. The module is optimized for industrial installations with M10 bolt terminals, wide conductor support (35–120 mm²), and a maximum motor cable length of 300 m shielded or 450 m unshielded. It is fully compliant with UL, cUL, CE, RCM, and SEMI F47 standards, ensuring global compatibility and safety.
Designed for challenging conditions, it operates in temperatures from –20°C to +40°C (LO) and up to +50°C (HO), with humidity up to 95% (non-condensing). Measuring 305 × 708 × 357 mm and weighing 65 kg, the PM240-2 offers a compact yet robust footprint suitable for cabinet and panel installations.
