Description

The ABB SACE® Tmax® XT7 and XT7M molded case circuit breakers deliver advanced protection, monitoring, and switching capabilities for commercial and industrial power distribution systems. With frame sizes of 800A, 1000A, and 1200A, these breakers support voltages up to 600V AC and feature high interrupt ratings—up to 100 kA at 480V—ensuring reliable performance in high-fault environments.

Both models are available in 3-pole and 4-pole configurations with fixed or withdrawable versions. The XT7M adds an integrated stored-energy mechanism for smoother manual operation, plus optional motor charging for remote or automatic control. A wide range of trip units is supported, including Ekip Dip, Touch, Hi-Touch, and G-series variants, providing adjustable protection functions such as LS/I, LSI, LSIG, and specialized ground fault features.

Additional customization includes multiple terminal options, auxiliary contacts, shunt trips, undervoltage releases, motor operators, safety accessories, and interlocks. Designed for harsh conditions, the XT7 series operates from –25°C to +70°C and supports 100% continuous current rating up to 1200A using 90°C conductors (based on 75°C ampacity). Reverse feeding is permitted, and units are suitable for single-phase applications up to 600V AC.
