Description
The Delta DVP04PT-S Platinum Temperature Sensor Module is an advanced analog input module engineered for precise industrial temperature measurement. It supports up to four PT100 3-wire sensors (DIN 43760 / JIS C1604-1989) and converts input signals into 14-bit digital data with 0.1°C resolution (0.18°F in Fahrenheit mode). The module provides a wide measurement range of -200°C to 600°C (-328°F to 1112°F), making it suitable for diverse thermal control applications.
The DVP04PT-S features built-in averaging functions, configurable through Controlled Registers (CR#2–CR#5), enabling high-stability readings by smoothing sensor noise. It includes self-diagnosis, fault-code reporting, and LED indication for power, run, and error states to support reliable operation.
Designed for seamless integration, the module communicates via RS-485 using MODBUS ASCII or RTU and can also be directly linked to Delta DVP-SS PLCs. Its digital and analog circuits are isolated for improved noise immunity, while compliance with IEC 61131-2 ensures safe installation in industrial environments.
With a compact design, DIN-rail mounting, and low power consumption (2W at 24VDC), the Delta DVP04PT-S offers robust and accurate temperature monitoring for process control, HVAC, thermal protection, and automation systems.
